AUDITION INFO
We are proud to announce the first auditions for HITSNY!! All students must undergo the audition process and apply for entry into HITSNY. Judges will review the contestants and offer entry based on their application and audition. We are looking for singers, dancers, and musical actors/actresses.
Multiple scholarships to one semester of professional training (worth $7000) will be awarded to top students. So anyone who is interested in working in the Entertainment industry should apply.
Time: Saturday, December 17, 2011 from 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
Location: Bennett Media Studio – 723 Washington St. (11th St and Washington St), Manhattan, NY 10014

All Applicants are STRONGLY encouraged to submit a Youtube clip. This will give the judges more time to see you show off your talents!
All Applicants should prepare the following as applicable:
1. Korean Song with Music Recording (1 minute)
2. English Song with Music Recording (1 minute)
3. Dance segment with Music Recording (1 miinute)
4. Korean Monologue, if possible, otherwise in English
5. Please dress fashionable if possible. If you need to change, we will have a dressing room ready.
6. Please wear comfortable shoes to dance in (we will be having a separate dance session where you will learn choreography on the spot)
If you wish to apply only for Dancing, or Singing, or Acting, please state so in the email. You may spend more time on your area of interest, ie if you want to sing, then focus on singing. Please limit your total audition to 3 minutes.
For those who are out of state or cannot attend the December 17th audition:
Please record all of the above in one video, upload to YouTube or Vimeo and email us the link with the completed application.
Fill out an application and include a clear face picture. RSVP on Facebook here. If you wish to audition for only Singing or Dancing or Acting, please mention that in the email.
Applicants can include audio clips, YouTube video clips, or other media files as well. Applicants may compress multiple files and submit it in a zip file file. If the file is too big for email, please use a file hosting site, such as Mediafire or gotupload. Pictures should be in jpeg or png format. Please include these links with your application and state if you cannot attend the December 17th audition.
Applicants under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign the Parent Release Form for Media Recordin. All other Applicants must sign the Release Form for Media Recording. All signed forms can be brought to the auditions on audition day. All students need a passport by February 1, 2012.

Judges include a prestigious fashion designer, choreographer director, singer/song writers from Korea and a surprise guest (not an idol).
All winners will be announced by December 27th. We reserve the right to film and record the auditions. All digital media recordings are property of HITSNY and may be used for HITSNY approved purposes.
